It would be painted hellrot, like the car, and the hardware would all be black (I HATE the shiny look on most cars). So, thoughts/opinions on it, color matched to the car? I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with the back end, and it's a cheap upgrade. Only problem is if I don't like it, then I have holes in my hatch I don't have the money for a real ACS/Hayman/etc. original TI spoiler. That is, unless Bluebimma is going to make more than one 'glass replica and sell em cheap __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. I think the ACS replica we bought would be better than the one you have listed. But it did run $100+ or around $200 i forget. | | | 11-14-2008, 07:18 AM | #3 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Are you serious? All those nice mods on your car and you're going to put something tacky on it now? Please don't. First impression I get when I see one of these spoilers on civics and neons is damn, that kid is trying way too hard to be cool. Our cars aren't exotic by any means, but these raised and otherwise universal fitting spoilers just make them look cheap. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-14-2008, 07:19 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Rocky Hill, CT Posts: 1,065 | Quote: Originally Posted by elchicano318ti i bought a ACS replica and so did Marv. I'm not really set on a spoiler at all, I like the plain rear-end, but I'm curious to what you guys think about it. I figure it's $60, if I mock it up and don't like it, I sell it for $40, and that's that. __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. I needed someone to talk me out of it. I will remain spoiler-less Thanks for kicking me back to reality Jess. It was one of those bored, late-night thoughts __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. H&R race springs F+R. If Tony doesn't want to make more than one replica, I'll give it a shot and you'll be first in line. Edit; just clicked on an ad at the top of this page. They're selling the M technic replica for 132 bucks. Here's the link: http://www.wooddashexperts.com/custo...e.php?cat=8587 IIRC This is where wolferj got his from. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-14-2008, 03:53 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Rocky Hill, CT Posts: 1,065 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Wow, being the forum jerk finally paid off for me, lol. I'm fully capable of copying it as well, but I don't have one to copy. That'd be great if you could, but with the Mtech one for that cheap, I wonder if I'd still be making it worth your time?
