Question TMS Chip Update

I recieved my chip today and am excited to install it tonight, but I have a problem. I'm supposed to have 91 or 93 octane gas to run the ship at it's full power and I have 3/4 tank of 89 octane. The booklet says I can harm the engine if I don't run it on the right octane and I called Turner and they said I should wait til it's empty and then I called M3 MotorWerks and they said I can mix the gas with 93 and shouldn't worry for now. So what should I do? Thanks, Will.

poll is not working for some reason, but do u think I should mix the gas with 93 or wait til it's empty and fill it up to install the chip?

drive around till the gas tank is empty, there is ur solution, drive around till u have 1/4 gas then fill it up with 93 octane gas. there u go then u will u have maybe 91-92 octane gas.. go out to the highway and drive at high rpm, or stop at light and floor the car best way to waste gas

Or put a little 104+ Octane Booster in the tank and fill it the rest of the way with Supreme and you should be good to go...

I have the poll function only in the polls forum.

I'd run the gas down first. When I knew I was going to chip my car I started a week before putting in high octane.

Thanks for the info. I'm almost to half a tank and tomorrow I'm gonna try and run out the rest of it, really want to get the chip in. And for a mileage update, I have 3 more miles and then the odometer strikes 50,000.

The only company that has a chip for an M44 OBD-II engine is
Dinan. Actually it is a flash.

As stated before, Technique Tuning also makes one.

I knew Nick had an update for the DASC. I didn't know he also had one for a normally aspirated also. Nick is good. He did some cool stuff to my DME. When you watch him work he makes it look so simple.
