Default What 5-Speed Tranny's will fit?

What all 5-Speed Transmissions will fit my 1996 318ti???

I think any e36 will bolt in. I know my 95 has the same tranny as the 95 325is.

and also might it be better to get an m3 tranny in there just to beef it up for say if i want to supercharge etc.
