No help from BMW in India | | | 11-14-2015, 03:03 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2013 Location: Ithaca, NY, USA Posts: 147 | The mechanics probably had to disconnect the battery, and that's why your radio got reset. Are you sure it's the right code? Was the code working before? If you got a code from the dealership and it's not working, then there's nothing more you can do besides getting a new radio. | | | 11-14-2015, 04:03 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2015 Location: India Posts: 2 | Thanks for the response. Yes, I have the code (Original card with the code) and I have used this code whenever I changed the battery . I dont get the beep sound when I enter code, Do you think it is some signalling problem? | | | 11-14-2015, 04:13 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2013 Location: Ithaca, NY, USA Posts: 147 | Whatever the problem is, it's inside the head unit. And those things aren't really meant to be serviced, so like I said, it'll be easier to replace it.
