Red face quick stereo system Q....

hey guys... i'm installing a system on a boat. I'm no stereo guru so I need some help.

I have a clarion head unit hooked up to two- let's call them door speakers, a 10 inch sub in a box, and two satellite bazookas run to the top of the wakeboard tower.

I'm using a 6 channel JL Audio amp.
The clarion deck has two rca out's.
I've got the 'door speakers' wired to the deck harness, and they work fine.

My question is how do I get the sub to work along with the 2 bazzoka's off the amp?
I bridged the sub on channel 5&6 and can get it thump when I run one of the rca's to the correct rca port on the amp.
I have the bazookas left....how do I get them thump off separate channels with one rca left from the head unit?
am I missing something? (obviously)

I tried a rca splitter. I know i'm close. I can get one bazook on, but not both at the same time.

any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong? ....
thanks- joshua

More RCA splitters. That would be my only solution. And maybe another amp.

the splitter didn't work.

the amp is huge with 6 channels. should be adequate, right?

I got it done. I just needed splitters for the rca's to run L/R feeds for the Bazookas. I bridged the sub on 5 & 6. Ran the bazookas on 3/4. Set a switch to 'sum', and voila...really pretty easy. I ran the side speakers to the head using the fronts for fade ability. The boss is happy now....

forums.wakeboarder.com

There are also some pretty good writeups on DIY tower-mount speaker cans. Also, if you use decent (non-paper cone) car speakers, they work just as well as marine speakers.
