Default Help...Need new cat...

I'm new around here and I'm in desperate need of some help. I've got a 95 ti and it has developed 3 large cracks in the exhaust piping in FRONT of the cat. The cracks are surrounding the O2 sensor hole in the piping between the engine and the catalytic converter and this piping is welded to the catalytic convertor. The only solutions I've come up with are to get an OEM BMW cat, which I was quoted $800 for, or to have someone cut out the bad piping and do a custom replacement of the O2 sensor hole. However, the local exhaust shop said they couldn't do the custom replacement, so I'm stuck getting an entire OEM catalytic converter piece just for the piping. Does anyone have any other ideas OR does anyone have an old TI catalytic converter laying around that I can buy?

There are aftermarket cats and pipes. Don't need to pay BMW OEM prices.

Shop around.

Good luck!

I have a complete exhaust as well. Off of a '98. No rattles. May be slightly different with Oxygen sensor, maybe not.

Let me know.
