Try down force and adjustments in alignment. Also, slow down a bit on corner entry.. A lot of mistakes in simulators that try to simulate real physics is driving to fast... I still think rfactor owns anything on a console.. | | | 11-05-2008, 05:07 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Detroit, MI Posts: 585 | I love driving the 1 series in GT5. I need to get the force steering wheel. Its just not the same turning with the joystick. and tiFreak you probably are going WAY to fast. | | | 11-05-2008, 05:29 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by adamud and tiFreak you probably are going WAY to fast. | lol, probably, Forza is more forgiving when I drive like an idiot so that's why I like it more, plus I get to put stickers on my cars | | | 11-05-2008, 06:56 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: San Diego Posts: 180 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak I have Gran Turismo 4, I can't stand it, I put the super-soft racing slicks on all my cars and still have no traction plus I don't have a PS3, got the 360 instead so I have Forza 2 | yea thats cause you need to do boneheaded things like braking BEFORE corners instead of half way through them you know, things you need to do in a real car if you want to keep it on the track | | | 11-05-2008, 07:18 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Land of the Vikings Posts: 2,700 | yeah, ive been playing GT from Playstation 1 days, so i think on the whole Forza looks more entertaining.. heres a bash of e36 M3 drifting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66pKTc8mJpE besides.. any game with a drivable E30 M3 in Jägermeister livery deserves legend status!! __________________ Vin Number decode and Retrofit Pdfs Available Free ! I have to turn the graphics details way down, and I can't get into a race with 16 people, which kind of sucks... I would definitely recommend a newer processor with at least 1gb to 2gb of ram, and a graphics card with 256mb or higher of ram. The quality of the graphics is directly related to the speed of your machine. I'm using the new Logitech driving force GT wheel that was designed for GT5. You can't use the little red adjustment wheel just yet, but all other wheel controls work.. And keep in mind that this is a true driving simulator. You speed in the pits, you get fined, you cut through the grass, you get fined, you drive the wrong way, you get DQ'ed.. The physics are also very true to life. So definitely not an arcade game. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
