BMW ROOF RACK (CAN BE FITTED TO ANY BMW?)

I found this on ebay today and have wanted a bike rack desperately for my bmw factory rack does anybody think this will actually work?

I have a bmw catalog that has this bike lift system as an option for 3 series.
It is OEM BMW
Give me a day to check if it is intended for specific models
