I was pretty devastated. I hope no member has to go through what I'm going through. I nearly wanted to cry, even though it's a car. And thanks for the encouragement. It's what keeps me from looking back down.

Don't waste any more money sending Sean jpay letters. You can email them to me and I'll mail them to him with my stuff. Save your money to fix your car...she deserves all of your attention.
Thanks. I still have 3 more stamps left. I'll start emailing it to you after.

I just need the base plates first. Look at the image attachment below. From the tip of corner of the triangle, to the other corner. Get the dimensions of A, next B, then C.

Yea, it takes a lot of guts to do this. I'm already having regrets about this project. There is a really nice bimmer on CL that I want, and I could easily scrap this and buy that one, but I love her to much!

I'm surprised she doesn't want me to wash her!

Glad to hear you're rescuing the car, but for the love of God, please no Z3 fenders!

well, if you think about golfballs, your ti should be more aerodynamic now

that does look pretty bad though, I'm guessing the roof is the same?

These are my goals, from order:
1) Get rear window put in.
2) Replace the front window.
3) Put a real CF layer over the roof of the car.
4) CF hood
5) z3 style, fiber glass fenders
6) Go through with my e34 mirror swap
7) Take the car to a body shop and have all the remaining visible dents removed.
8) Repaint the non-CF parts dark gunmetal.
Estimated recovery price: $3,500 (give or take)
I will update this thread, and strike the list as I complete each check-point.

What changed my mind? I put way to much work into her to have her seen sold. And plus, I hate seeing another ti getting destroyed.

Oh, the camera is off of my phone. It's not showing all the dents. There are dents from front to the end. The roof is the worst though.

All Z3 style fenders belong on Z3's... To me it looks wrong on so many levels. for all the $$ you spend, you might as well go to Pep-Boys and buy those stick on Buick portholes
FYI, there is a wrecked ti over at my mechanic's and it has those same fenders, they look awful.

He's not talking about your insurance.... HR (Human Resource) Department at your JOB, because of your supervisors negligent behavior they should be liable for damages to your vehicle. You need to speak to anyone in HR or above your supervisor... you could get paid for damages or the a-hole could get reprimanded for his poor judgement. Also, you should not FEAR loosing your job by bringing this up, since then they would be in deeper trouble and open to a much bigger liability!...

I'll see if I can get some from my mechanic... Also, M3 items aren't M3 items, as you should know they are M-tech items that were optional from BMW for any 3 series, or they wouldn't have made them for the likes of the ti or e36 touring in Europe.
M3 costs more out of the box, and part of the reason besides the engine/suspension and braking is the addition of the M-tech items.
