Default Changing Front Turn Signal Bulb

My drivers side front turn signal has stopped working and I'm thinking the bulb needs changing. I am ashamed to admit I have never changed the front bulbs so I don't know how to do it. I searched this site but I couldn't find an answer. I took a brief look under the hood but it's dark out and I don't have proper lighting so I couldn't see much, but it looks like I can just pull the bulb out without removing the entire housing, is this true? Can someone give me step by step instructions for removing the bulb? And can you also tell me which bulb is the indicator and which one just lights up with the headlights? Because the headlight bulb is fine, it's the indicator that needs changing. Thanks.

It's just one bulb with 2 filaments...

Yes, you can remove the bulb without pulling the housing. The bulb is held in a plastic grey socket that clips/snaps into the housing. There are 2 clips that you press together in a pinching movement that releases the socket, then just pull back with a gentle rocking motion.

The bulb is a push in and twist 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to remove.

Installation is the reverse of the removal, and the bulb socket only fits one way when you are replacing it.

Wow... weird timing here. My drivers side front turn signal went out the other day also. When I reached in to release the clips, I discovered that it bulb holder was loose. I reseated the clip so that both of the clips were making contact... and the light started working again. So, check that before you buy bulbs. :-)

Unfortunately, it wasn't just a loose connection and I did have to replace the bulb. But with wolferj's instructions, it was a piece of cake! Thanks guys!
