Cali-ti, have you ever had problems with the cali top leaking? Does the mechanism open and close smoothly?

I have not had any leaks up to this point and it does still open smoothly. That said, I'm sure I'm long overdue to clean and lube the tracks and condition the seals.

I checked the ti out. Had a lot of cosmetic complications but I gotta admit the engine sounded so smooth.

In the mean time, a few cars over I found and talked to one of the mechanics who owns a 318is with a complete m3 motor swap in it. The car was pretty beat cosmetically but it sounded great. Real nice guy that worked at the shop and owned it.

if you get the 318is make sure there's no frame damage, it's had the radiator support replaced (should be painted body color) which is a sure sign of a front end collision

I'm not buying the 318is. The 318ti is for sale not the is. That was someone else's car, not for sale. It just happen to be right there

I see overspray - I don't think white is the original color...
Edit: Actually you're right, the overspray is on the replacement parts.. duh.
