The DME I got with my swap parts actually contained a Dinan Chip, which I didn't discover until I pulled the DME and cover to check part #'s for Barrie when I ordered a chip from him. So, I have been running a chipped car all along. This ends up being a comparison between a Dinan chip and a Midnight Tuning chip. Who wins? Drum roll, please....... Midnight Tuning!!! A quick overview... More responsive from the first stab at the throttle to the top of the RPM range. The Dinan chip was a bit slow at take off and had a flat spot at 3k, that didn't get better until 4+k rpms... Part of that seems to be inherent with the motor, but Barrie's chip eliminates the take off lag and the majority of the mid range flatness. The power band is smoother and stronger across the board. Quite happy with this chip... Thanks again, Barrie! __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
