Well I've decided to make my next thread full of win. These are my goals, from order: 1) Get rear window put in. 2) Replace the front window. 3) Put a real CF layer over the roof of the car. 4) CF hood 5) z3 style, fiber glass fenders 6) Go through with my e34 mirror swap 7) Take the car to a body shop and have all the remaining visible dents removed. 8) Repaint the non-CF parts dark gunmetal. Estimated recovery price: $3,500 (give or take) Money Spent So far: $250 I will update this thread, and strike the list as I complete each check-point. What changed my mind? I put way to much work into her to have her seen sold. And plus, I hate seeing another ti getting destroyed. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Made a $50 deposit. Now I gotta wait for them to get it shipped to their shop __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Or hell, even a SC. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Now is the time to think outside the usual and find new solutions. For example, find someone who does bodywork, but not necessarily paint. Pay him to teach you how to fix the hail dents on the roof. Practice on your hood (since you want to replace it anyway) until you are happy with the results, then fix the other spots... (didn't you already establish a working relationship with a shop when you did your spoiler?) You have lots of ideas, now is the time to teach yourself... Good luck and have fun! It will make you even more proud of your car when you are done! __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
