I've just finished replacing my tan a and c pillars with black ones, I was going to do the b pillars too but I can't figure out how to get the little handle off that adjusts the seat belt height. anyone know how to remove it so that I can remove the b-pillar? on any other car I'd just pull as hard as I can and see what happens but I don't think I'll be doing that to my ti | | | 07-11-2009, 12:41 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | broke my trying, LMK if you find out. __________________ -Jeff | | | 07-11-2009, 02:45 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | should have a small plastic cover clip over it, remove that, then you should see a nut - iirc its around 14mm or something. Ive never done it, but lost the cover - so the nut is always looking me in the eye. __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 07-11-2009, 03:14 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | Nah not that one. Thats easy to get off, he is talking about the little level your pull to adjust the height of the set belt loop bracket. __________________ -Jeff | | | 07-11-2009, 03:49 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Brendan; On the underside of the adjustment lever is a small hole. You need a very small flat screwdriver or similar object. There is a little catch in the hole that needs to be pushed up, releasing the adjustment lever allowing you to pull it straight off. Then you can get the b-pillar off... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
