So I did a bunch of work on the car the last few days.
1) got the mirror housings and bumpers painted and reinstalled with new fog and corner lights. Also blacked out the grill.
2) put in the new wheel center caps
3) replaced blown bulbs in instrument cluster
4) replaced the antenna grommet. Attached is a pic of the best way to put the new one in. If you press in this area all the way around it pocks right in(unfortunately I only figured that out after 30min of struggling with it)!

I'm guessing that in 1995 that spot would've been where a sweet-arse multi-disk CD changer would have been put. Remember? People looked super cool when they would change CD's from the trunk. Bradestar is correct. The round plug is the early "m-bus" type connector for the factory CD changer, and that was the mounting location. I suspect that all US ti's came pre-wired for the CD changer, but it was rarely ordered or dealer installed.

Finally had a chance to do a little more work to the car. I cant stand the reverse rake of BMW's so I decided to try out the TA TECHNIX coilovers from eBay to fix this issue. They are supposedly made in Germany and from everything I could gather they where the same coilovers as the Racelands that have pretty good reviews. The installation went very well and the coilovers seem to be good quality. I did take the car for a 20min spin and they seem to be noise free and the handling is DEFINATLY better then my oem setup. I used to have ST coilovers on my e46 M3 and Tein coilovers on my WRX and I would say that they are equivalent to those. I will likely post a full review later when I have a chance to drive with them a lot more. So for I'm very happy with them though! Also was finally able to get a side molding ///M badge that I was missing. Loving the car so far! Anybody happen to know what vented rotors those are on the front?

Thanks to eurohb help i was able to grab a keyless system and fob a while back. At first I could not get the alarm to go into the key fob learning mode for the life in me even after 20+ attempts over a week or so on and off. Turns out that my hatch switch was actually the culprit, even though it operated the hatch light 100% fine  In any case I was able to get the fob programmed and now I finally have keyless entry!!! So far I have the rear hatch switch simply unplugged. Anyone have a good spare switch laying around?? Also if anyone has the OEM alarm speaker I would be interested. Thanks!!! Couldnt find much info on the TA TECHNIX, glad you decided to be the guinea pig  haha. Looking great, lots of stuff happening fast! Thought I would update the progress on my Club Sport: After having my car down for a few months trying to figure out why it would not start up after installing a Midnight Chip in it I finally ended up taking my car into a BMW shop and after weeks of chasing down the issue(and a very large repair bill) it turned out to be an issue with the EWS.
Put in the following new parts while troubleshooting:
-New Temp sensors
-New Fuel Pump/Filter
-New Crank and Cam sensors
-New spark plugs
Car now starts up and works like new! Even though this entire chip ordeal ended up costing me north of $1500 I'm quite pleased with the results.
