Both windows now work smoothly and quietly. Bought wiper blades for all three wipers at Wal Mart for under twenty bucks (Anco) which I thought was a good deal. | | | 08-12-2013, 03:46 AM | #3066 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Mishawaka, IN Posts: 5 | Made a short ram intake out of intake piping I had from a civic and a filter I had laying around. OEM part number is: 65138370936 these are pretty shot... didnt realize that all speaker needed replaced... but there has got to be something that I can wire into this existing speaker system without blowing that on board amp? and not get OEM, is my intention.. maybe there is a just right method to replace these old speakers with something better? | | | 08-13-2013, 11:59 AM | #3069 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | Quote: Originally Posted by Lbcnu24 Hey ya'll I need some advice... what would be a good aftermarket speaker to use to replace the front mid speakers near the floor? You can pull out your existing speakers and take them to a Car Toys or other stereo shop in order to compare/test fit for accurate size. The trick is to get the right depth. __________________ Sean 1995 Active Last edited by teetime4one; 08-13-2013 at 12:10 PM. | | | 08-14-2013, 12:41 AM | #3070 | Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: racine wi Posts: 37 | full stereo refresh today I gutted my factory stereo. the new: Pioneer DEH-X6500BT Kicker 5.25" speakers in kick panels Kicker 2" tweeters in doors Kicker 1.5" tweeters in doors Kicker 2" tweeters in rear Kicker 6.5" speakers in rear deck lid, deleted old 4's 32 gb cruzer fit micro flash drive full of music shortened stock shifter by 1". | | | 08-14-2013, 10:44 PM | #3071 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Quote: Originally Posted by Lbcnu24 Hey ya'll I need some advice... what would be a good aftermarket speaker to use to replace the front mid speakers near the floor? Just use a dremel to to make a series of radial cuts outward from the openings, then push the sheet metal outward until the speaker fits. Your oem radio will handle the larger speakers just fine. It's going to sleep until Thanksgiving break. I have plans to fix a little bit every break from school I have, then a big project with it in the summer. It may even get new paint then. | | | 08-21-2013, 03:10 AM | #3075 | Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: racine wi Posts: 37 | Quote: Originally Posted by angelicmisskitty ...switched the fabric of the headliner and A-pillars to full black (our german standard white interior sucks so bad...)...now to get that thing back into the car... | I was thinking of doing this to. where are all the clips for taking it off. any tips? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
