Initially after returning from the gas station everything was fine, gauge showed tank to be full, but when I returned to the car this morning, gauge read empty, even though the tank is completely filled. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the metal flap was slightly ajar. I also noticed a pin that seems to be connected to this flap extremely loose, I feel like i can completely remove it. Has anyone experienced something similar, I havent tried playing with the pin as I dont want to do anything stupid on this new car. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Happy Holidays, and many thanks in advance. | | | 12-17-2017, 01:02 AM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2017 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 3 | Just a quick update on the issue, it turns out fuse #46 is the culprit, I've tried to replace the fuse, but each time has resulted in blown fuse. I will look over the schematic, to see what other systems are affected by this fuse. My guess, from looking at other posts, is that theres a short somewhere due to bad wires | | | 12-17-2017, 08:54 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Good luck! Sorry I can't help, never had this issue. __________________ ***328ti Build thread. *** Even more important: SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! Once screwed tight, and with a new fuse, everything worked as it should. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
