Listed in the "M3" section.

I wonder if a "new BMW factory replacement" 3.0-liter engine would have the newer titanium valve retainers of the 3.2 liter.

Default 330ti With 2500 miles

I think this is to good to be true but if it is in good condition it's a steal imo.

Sweet. No reserve?
If he doesn't get $12,000, it would be a crime.
It needs a tranny though and is the diff from a 4 cylinder?

"The differential is New."

I would think that they would've used a 6-cylinder diff if bothering to swap it, but yeah, what about the trans. . .and the suspension, and brakes. There are plenty of E36 M3's with all of the above included for $12k. I like ti's & everything, but I dunno if I'd do $12k for an M3 swap that didn't include all of the goodies, even if the motor is new.

Default 6cyl diff

The diff is from a M Roadster, purchased from a former racing team. it was a spare. we have the complete M3 front suspension but I am saving it for my personal ti.

Default build date

Label on block reads

30 6S 2 02A
1149 A 063
1100 1 404 959

there is a way to read production date, if you know the code.

Please don't stray off topic. I think next year we may start issuing infractions since this tends to be a problem.
There is a how-to-do-it guide at the top of the for sale section.
Also see the engine swap section.

I think that was a fair price. Both parties should be happy.
I thought it was good for at least $12,000.
