Default Love Affair with e30 M3

So i've been sort of cheating on my ti

i think it has come to be my favorite bmw out there. i was always a fan of the older e30's and e36's but i keep watching videos of this on the tracks and just found a flickr e30 m3 group and found some of the sickest shots in pretty much supreme quality

It's the iconic BMW look. Defined the company for a few generations.

Not me, haven't lived in the DC area in 5 years. Got the Red one when I was living there off of Craigslist for 3.5K believe it or not came out of Aberdeen Md.

That's a heck of a deal, even the beat to death ones start at $5500...

The one I saw was a white evo, BMWCCA tag 0033 or something. Dude was flying-to a crappy little bar in the middle of nowhere.

There's gotta be one of these for sale somewhere where the owner doesn't know what he has. I almost picked up an e30 M3 rolling chassis for 12 or 1500 a few years back. I love the sound of the S14, makes me sick everytime I see one of these with a swap.

The current recession we're in. Many decent cars are in the 9-15 range at the moment.

I find it hard that all the low mileage ones that attend the shows seem to stay under 100K in mileage. Find that odd. But pull a fuze and the odometer doesn't turn on E30's. Easiest car to fake mileage it seems.

My red one is nearly at 300K on an original engine.

No there isn't just off dmv reports and so on. Easy to roll one back as well. Take cluster apart and it's that easy.

Like a lock is for keeping honest people out.
