Need help from an M44 owner

Hi,

Please can someone confirm if the 5X throttle trick (to get engine fault codes) works on the M44 318ti?

(before anyone says ODBII ... I have a 96 UK car which dosent have ODBII fitted... I might have tps issues but need someone to comfirm if the 5x trick works.)

No I don't think it does but someone else will need to answer to confirm. Will not work on my 1997 318 M44

Thanks for looking into this.

I will have to find someone with a BMW scanner in this case.
