As for outragous take a look in "my garage" at my 87 cutlass | i didnt say outrageous....you gotta understand, 318ti enthusiasts are not looked upon in the bmw community all that seriously BECAUSE, they are amongst the cheapest models and people were more likely to do dumb things to them. and considering how few of them are actually around, 1 tacky ti pollutes the pool more than it should __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 05-11-2012, 09:13 PM | #2346 | Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Canada Posts: 34 | Quote: Originally Posted by Crashaddict 318ti enthusiasts are not looked upon in the bmw community all that seriously... | Don't get hung up on what the "the BMW community" thinks. The car you choose to drive tends to be (but not always due to budget and family considerations) an expression of an indivuals personal taste. Bottom line: If it runs and you love it that is all that matters. | | | 05-11-2012, 09:18 PM | #2347 | Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Canada Posts: 34 | but this thread is suppose to be what did you do to your car today. so in keeping with the thread... It doesn't look right to me, seems like the strut is centered too far forward which effects caster. What are you trying to accomplish with the camber plates? Stock alignment specs? __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 05-12-2012, 01:18 PM | #2354 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Yes, center of the strut should be to the rear of the opening for more caster. That will drive really strangely the way you have it- a lot of wandering on the road and worse the faster you go (AKA: dangerous). You probably need to swap sides. The factory ones have an arrow pointing forward. | | | 05-12-2012, 03:22 PM | #2355 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Sprtri-: yes, i am trying to account for the coilovers, bavauto kit( http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp) J!m: wrong sides i guess, ill redo it....car is still in the air rather do it now then later __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term Last edited by Crashaddict; 05-12-2012 at 03:32 PM. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
