Default Thinking of painting my wheels black

what do you guys think? Should I paint my wheels black, should I polish them, or leave em as is?

think they look good now

EDIT: i think painting them black might create a sort of void there whereas it offers a match to the car and contrast to the tires now.

i like the way they match the car right now. just polish them up. if u want some color maybe you could put a color plate behind the rims that would be black. you know what i am talking about?

Keep your wheels the same, they look awesome. If you had some different kind of rims, then maybe I would do the black, but they would have to have a polished lip.

I would not polish them, to blingy in my opinion.
Id paint them black and leave the center indentation
as is. So a black wheel, with a silver lip and center.

I think your rims look fine but if you must paint them remember any nicks or chips will be exaggerated by the paint. I don’t think I would be satisfied with the finished result from merely painting but powder coating or just polishing would give a better finish.

it wouldnt block the brakes from cooling too bad because you still have your brake vents that funnel air directly to the brake pads. but you have a point it would reduce air and that would lead to heat on brakes.

Those brake vents were dropped after 1998(?), because they also funneled water to the brakes.

Axe the 1999'ers...

I believe they either blocked them or removed them completely. Maybe check realoem.com and compare bumpers from 1997 to 1999?
