Opps.. Hatch Back Sightings... Maybe it's just me, and maybe it's because I recently just acquired a 318 Ti... but recently, I seem to be seeing more on the road than before. The last time I was hanging out with Rich, on our way to James' place we came across a Blue 318Ti on the 80 East. The day my car broke down, I came across another White one on the 280 North and then a Black one on the 101 North - Same day. Yesterday, on my way home as I came off the HWY 92 merger with the 101, I was right beside a Light Metallic Green 318 Ti on the 101 North. Today, on my way home from the Peninsula, there was another 318 Ti beside me for about 5 miles on the 101 (I think a Blue one). I stopped for gas at an ARCO in Burlingame and this guy pulls up behind me in an E36 328i, and gives a friendly yell, "liking the gas mileage huh." I answered yes and he tells he has one at home too. Then as soon as I parked my car at home, I went out for a couple of drinks with friends and as I am standing there with my friends a Red 318 Ti rolls by. Is it just me or they gaining popularity for gas savings, etc. | | | 07-07-2014, 10:17 AM | #2 | Member Join Date: Jun 2014 Location: MEDINA, Wa. It had the M-Contours on it. Anybody to claim it? | | | 07-09-2014, 02:27 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Wasn't me... __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org!
