Default Boot (trunk) lid interior trim

Trunk lid (boot lid) interior trim panel
item 1 on http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...81&hg=51&fg=65
=======================

I took this off to check out the preamplifier and boot lock mechanism - now how do I get the inside lid cover back on?

It looks like I may have to remove the two side pieces (items 5 & 7) first to get a straight run at it - the plastic clips seem to bend otherwise as they need to be offered up straight.

Any thoughts ? (other than maybe I shouldn't have taken it off in the first place ?) - many of you must have done this simple manoeuvre ?

Thanks in anticipation

Thanks Oakley - not sure what "suhers" are ?

What did you do about the self-locking fixings at the bottom - get new ones ? or use large self-tappers ?

Very helpful to know it can be done ! My efforts in the rain and dim light today were not the best of times to try to line anything up !

Doh am i bad that was spose to read pushers!! Sorry typing to fast I got new self locking nuts as i had to replave a few on the interior trim...from a dealer they are the princely sum of about 2pence each!!
And the lining up does take some time!! U'll fix one end and the other end will pop out so u'll be trying to force ya arm into impossibly small gaps to line it all up!! Prepare for very cut and bruised hands and arms!!
