I messed up and didn't label all the connector/plugs when i was removing them when i pulled the head. I have a 1995 M42 engine. My question is about the two sensors in the head on the right side, the blue and black sensors. I believe one of them is the enigine coolant temp sensor. So from the wiring harnass which connector goes where? Does the the shorter or longer wired connector go to the blue sensor? and the black? __________________ 95 Ti - Mods: Moss. What is the correct answer. Thanks! | | | 09-26-2006, 09:12 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Cincinnati Posts: 890 | They are both temperature sensors. The Blue one runs the temperature needle on the dash, not sure about the black one. I'd be interested to hear what the black one is there for if someone can find it in a Bentley. __________________ SOLD!!! 1999 332ti //M Sport Titanium Silver M3 S52 3.2 I-6 Engine, M3 Clutch w/ ti Getrag Trans, Z3 3.15 LSD medium case diff and half shafts, OEM Hatch Spoiler, Eurosport HP Underdrive Pulleys, FDM, 17" DS1 rims, M3 Front Struts & Springs, M3 Instrument Cluster, 3-spoke //M steering wheel with tri-color stitching, SSK, CCFL Angels in Depo projectors with 5k HIDs | | | 09-29-2006, 03:25 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Cincinnati Posts: 890 | Bump.... Just installed the BMW SystemAdmin, but I can't find the passwords for the ETK, TIS and others. Trying to think where I saved them at. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
