IDK i dont think size matters now, the new lincoln's are huge yet they claim to get 35mpg city...if this is true then we just need better built engines...or another powersorce....BATTERIES.

What does the 1 series look like...something like the VW tolo?

Guess you haven't seen the new M Coupe. It's a Bangle design.
It's gorgeous!

As for the 1 Series. I want one! Got the plate all ready picked out.

since we've gone off - topic, are we getting the two door one series or not?

I already have a small five door (A3) and I'd prefer a coupe for my next car (or another MINI).

Look is a personal matter. But if you drive the 1 series you will not want to drive the ti again! It handles just amazing! I had it test drive for one whole day and only have good things to say. Actually too good
Its' suspension setup is just amazing and the chassis is soooooo rigid. The steering feedback is just PERFECT , the cars balance too. Especially the 130i is just amazing!!!

Still undecided about the 1 series - sometimes i want one - other times I hate the way it looks - the 130 Sport M is a monster though

2nd hand 1 series prices are still about £15K - so my wife is going for an E46 ti (about £8k)

personally - Z4 coupe is the daddy, I want one even more than a M coupe
