Getting the barrels re-powdercoated this week. Just got the bolts nickel/gold plated about a month ago. Got burnt out on sanding my other set of style 5's, but need to finish them soon. | | | 01-23-2012, 03:33 AM | #1926 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: Lancaster, PA Posts: 295 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Thanks Zach, I still have them. I'm using the black/gold BBS caps off of my black style 5's. The black style 5's are going to get red/gold BBS caps. I'm also thinking about selling the black style 5's and doing another set in Prima Donna. | | | 01-23-2012, 04:15 AM | #1928 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: Lancaster, PA Posts: 295 | Sounds sick!! I'm most excited to see them come out!! I just read a bit of your thread on them, I'm speechless honestly!! __________________ Aerodynamics are for those who can not build engines | | | 01-23-2012, 07:18 AM | #1929 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 1,464 | What did I do to my car today? The biggest reason I bought it is that 'Bodo' (my '95 base model) got totaled back in November. I've been on the fence about fixing it ever since, but unless I can get a killer deal on the bodywork (it's around $4k in damage, according to Allstate, and they're not even factoring in the busted motor mount from the accident) from my friend that owns a body shop, I may just strip it. I already miss the sound of the M42 vs. the M44. | | | 01-23-2012, 06:13 PM | #1932 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Quote: Originally Posted by zoner Will do, as soon as the weather clears and I get some time.
