Had Walmart take the worn out tires off them (just charged me $20!), then brought home and went to work cleaning them up. Finished up with a little touch up paint and clear coat. Ordered four Tiger Paw GTZ's, 225/45 17's. Hope to get them mounted on Wednesday. | | | 02-21-2012, 04:14 AM | #1997 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Maryland Posts: 265 | worked on piecing my interior back together on my lunch break. along with killing my radio somehow? __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by bubela I’m happy in my blissful ignorant euphoria! So quiet now. Figured out a great way to quiet the rattling cargo tray. Some fish tank hose with a slit an installed on the edge. and rolled over 180K blasting up 83 north. __________________ No more ti. | | | 02-25-2012, 04:36 PM | #2004 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Maryland Posts: 265 | finished up putting my interior back together, re-covered the headliner and a-pillars. plus i changed the coolant, and oil, spark plugs since it had been sitting for damn near 6 months. i did all that by 9:30am! __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by bubela I’m happy in my blissful ignorant euphoria! I then took the 16X7 style 18's from the Z3 and put them on the ti, replacing the base model steelies it had. Result: new looks on two cars for the price of one set of wheels. I think BMW made a good decision when they put style 18's on the ti sport models. | | | 03-02-2012, 07:58 AM | #2009 | Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Helsinki Posts: 44 | Quote: Originally Posted by jca After I got new tires on the DS1's I recently bought, I decided to put them on my wife's Z3 instead of my ti.
