Got back home last night from College Station, Texas with my DS1's. Had Walmart take the worn out tires off them (just charged me $20!), then brought home and went to work cleaning them up. Finished up with a little touch up paint and clear coat. Ordered four Tiger Paw GTZ's, 225/45 17's. Hope to get them mounted on Wednesday.

Sorry to hear about your radio. Any idea of how it happened?

Swapped in a good diff and a installed a new center bearing. So quiet now.

Figured out a great way to quiet the rattling cargo tray. Some fish tank hose with a slit an installed on the edge.

and rolled over 180K blasting up 83 north.

After I got new tires on the DS1's I recently bought, I decided to put them on my wife's Z3 instead of my ti. I then took the 16X7 style 18's from the Z3 and put them on the ti, replacing the base model steelies it had. Result: new looks on two cars for the price of one set of wheels. I think BMW made a good decision when they put style 18's on the ti sport models.
