Naw rob, you can take it. If Steven needed it in pagemaker or quark, I would have stepped in.

alright well i can make an image with the 12 pictures tiled...

4 rows of 3 or 3 rows of 4...does it matter?

what size should the whole image be...same as our individual pics....11.5x 9 or whatever?

background color etc? plain white background with just tiled images? any titles or anything i should be putting up?

i got my chemistry final at 6...so after that ill see what i can do...

I think 4 pics across by 3 down would look good. Just try and take up all the space you can. Underneath maybe put a "318ti.org 2006 Calendar" insignia with a black background or something. That's my 2 cents.

I still need input from two people.
Then well put the text over the photos all at once.

I have a PC. It was a financial decision, and it worked out for me. PM and Quark aren't that demanding of applications, and it's all RAM with large files anyhow. What little video stuff I do works fine.

If I were doing audio stuff, I'd be Mac hands down, but it's just not my area of expertise.

I figured how to add layers so I might be able to handle overlaying the names. I couldn't figure how to cut and paste the 12 months on one page.

I'll upload what I come up with then give people a few days to comment.

http://www4.ncsu.edu/~rfclark/ti/cover.jpg

tiled images....plain white background color...

the small images are 500 wide and 400 tall...some pics didnt scale to the size correctly so i cropped off about 15 pixles on the sides to keep the proper scale, if i resized the whole image to the 500x400 size, the aspect ratio will change and make it look out of scale. so if you study the big giant pics, you may notice that half a tree branch or so didnt make it into the thumbnail

anyway...any changes...change the background color? i was thinking maybe including a little caption of the month...ie "January" below the january pic, etc...let me know whats up guys

i can handle putting text over some images and stuff if no one wants to do it...i use the macromedia suites to handle it instead of photoshop.
