Default New ti owner in AZ

Hey everyone, I'm Oliver. Just picked up a 1998 318ti last week as a daily. I also own a 1989 325is, it was my daily for the better part of 2 years, but it's getting the race car treatment soon. Got a ton of information off the forums after I picked up my ti, so I thought I should sign up.

Like I said it's a 98, factory 5 speed manual, previous owner swapped M3 bumpers and side skirts, put it on Style 2 wheels, and it's sitting on Raceland coils (I know... not my first choice either but he didn't have stock suspension and I don't mind enough to swap it for something better right now). It was a Minnesota car so there are a couple little rust patches, but otherwise is pretty clean inside and out.

So far I've only had to replace the hatch struts and latch, and rear brakes. I have a new AC condenser coming in the mail as the current one is puking, and I've already sourced a new grill. And then I'm done, the E30 needs more love .

Thanks guys!

Small world! I'm out in the East Valley, but I bought this one in Phoenix.

Already loving it, has a lot of the DNA from my E30 and it shows. Plus having the space in the back of the hatch has already been useful

Nice, hope to see you around! I'm out in the East Valley but I go to quite a few meets and events all over. I'll probably bring the ti out to a few autocross events at Wildhorse soon too.

Post up when and where for the autocross! I would love to check that out. Any local meet ups would be cool too.

AZsolo is the place to go. Here's a list of their upcoming events. I'm not sure if I can make the next one yet. It's up at AMP too, which I've never run before.

As for meets I go to Pavilions, and the Fit Mob weekly meets fairly often. Next big one I'm going to is the Vape Corps grand opening. My club is helping put the event on. I'm not into Vaping, but there's going to be car limbo and a bunch of other cool stuff. It's definitely more of a stance/show car scene, but there's a lot of cool people there!

That's going to be this Friday (the 11th) from 5-10pm. 4611 E Chandler Blvd Phoenix, AZ 85048. I can PM you the facebook event if you want to see all the info!

For whatever reason I cannot PM you, the site is saying I haven't activated my account even though I did... So here's the link to the facebook event!
