1995 project car 5 speed manual 2,250 obo near Centerville iowa Hi, i am looking to sell my 1995 318ti that i was going to build as a replacement for my 1996. I have lost interest in the car because my body repair man has quit rebuilding cars and i have gotten a sandrail to play with now too. The car is a stock 1995 with under 85000 miles on it original when i bought it. No cruise, no stability control, 5 speed manual transmission. black exterior, grey cloth interior. When i bought the car it was hit in the passengers front fender and door. I have removed the fender and door from the car as well as stripped the dash out of the car, carpet is removed too. It is most of the way ready to go to body to replace the coor pillar. The car has some rust on the body underneath, it appeared to only be bad on the body just right where the impact was so i planned on fixing it when we put in the door pillar and then there would of only been minor rust on the car. The interior was in very good condition for a 1995 so i shrink wrapped the passengers seat and dashboard to keep them from getting destroyed outside of the car. It has been sitting for a couple of years now after i bought it but it still stared and other than sounding low on powersteering fluid had no issues with driving, just put a battery into it with jumper cables and started it with a battery charger, then drove it out of the barn and to the other side of the barn. The car has factory steel wheels on it. When it is done it should be a very reliable and fun to drive car being a 5 speed, i have just ran out of patience with finding a body shop that i want to deal with in southern iowa and found a project i could do on my own. I would prefer that whoever buys the car would come and pick it up in person because it is as is where is, i can get pictures but it really needs to come out and get a bath first and there is a straight truck and a tractor blocking it in currently. 2,250 obo. __________________ 96 318ti - bought in 2007 |
