Default Mini Compact mods!

The old headliner was sacking a lo, so I've bought a new one from the dealer.
To bad the dealer odered wrong one, they ordered one without light mounting holes for the make-up lights. What to do now? yess!!! just mod it.
For finish touch I've also added a led light for rear passengers seats.

Old headliner removed, I've tried to repair the headliner but it was a disaster.

New headliner.

Installed wiring for the leds.

How did you get the colored roundel on your steering wheel? The roundel on my steering wheel was ruined by the previous owner. It looks like someone tried to pry it off and failed. I'd really like to replace it without paying $700 at the dealership.

Well just with some very strong sticking tape.
I don't have a steering wheel with a roundel, I've modded the steering wheel to accept a roundel.
A steering wheel with roundel you can just use a flat screwdriver to pry it off.

I think it's just a peel and stick. You have to completely pry out the previous one.

I've never seen the roundel for the steering wheel sold by itself. Where did you find yours?

Sure it's really remove all headliner hardware clothe hangers, plastic trims etc.
Open your trunk rotate the the headliner a little bit and pull it out.
