They are 7.5 F, 9 R. the front wheel offset is 41mm and the rear is 8mm. They come with tires already mounted and balanced. The tires are Michellin Pilots sports. They still have loads of tread life. The reason i'm selling is because I fitted them on my ti and the rear wheel offset makes the tire stick out about 3/4 of an inch from the wheel well. I'd be even more interested in a trade. I would prefer something local, because shipping would be a pain in the ass. The wheels are in great condition except for some minor curb rash around the outside of the lip on all four wheels; (the guy who owned it did'nt know how park ), but aside from that they are gorgeous wheels. If you are interested please let me know. Thanks. | | | 10-28-2005, 05:11 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Boston MA Posts: 221 | Since your ///M roadster rear wheels are sticking out from the wheel well on your ti, you would not recommend any ti owners to get your wheels. Is that true? __________________ 1998 BMW 318ti M-Tech Sport Silver (Gone to member leeko617) CURRENT: 2015 BMW X1, 2004 BMW 330ci Convertible, 1998 Porsche Boxster, 2001 BMW 525i Touring GONE: 2000 Audi A4, 2002 VW Passat, 1985 VW Cabriolet | | | 10-28-2005, 06:42 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | Quote: Originally Posted by michaelhofastcar Since your ///M roadster rear wheels are sticking out from the wheel well on your ti, you would not recommend any ti owners to get your wheels. Is that true? | IMHO, it's not the style I want for my car, some, may want they're cars to have that look. It makes the ti look like those german tuned ti's i've seen here before, where the wheels stick out of the body lines. I would only recommend these wheels for ti owners if they want to achieve that look. If they dont, I suggest that they dont bother. But if by word of mouth, anybody here knows somebody with a Z3.........they might be much more interested. But like I said, i'm open to all interesting trades. | | | 10-28-2005, 06:53 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Thousand Oaks, California Posts: 343 | Why not just sell the rears and buy two more front ones. I like how the car looks with the ///M roadster wheels if these are the ones you are reffering to... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2037568 __________________ 1993 325is Hellrot Tribute to: 97 318ti Montreal Blue R.I.P 96 318ti Schwartz II | | | 10-28-2005, 07:03 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: cali Posts: 338 | how much __________________ Clean E36 | | | 10-28-2005, 09:37 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | Quote: Originally Posted by drkblu318ti Why not just sell the rears and buy two more front ones. Plus the rear wheels have an incredibly deep dish. It would compliment the car so well, but like I posted earlier, the way it looked on the car is not my style. | | | 10-28-2005, 09:38 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | Quote: Originally Posted by marcus2116 how much | PM me a resonable offer. | | | 10-28-2005, 09:51 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. And a follow up question, how far can you actually roll the fenders? what is the limit? | | | 10-28-2005, 10:10 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. I wonder how those euro-style guys do it? Maybe if you run a 215mm wide tire and stretch it out over the rim?!?!? __________________ | | | 10-28-2005, 10:21 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | Quote: Originally Posted by m-technik_ti Come to think of it; a 9" rim with only a 8mm offset probably wouldn’t fit even if you rolled the fenders, since rolling fenders only accommodates for a few extra mm. of space. It doesn't look half bad. But the setup is definetly a tight fit. | | | 11-07-2005, 08:54 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | man, those look really good, esp the lip | | | 11-07-2005, 09:40 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | I just wish I knew what size that tire was. Then maybe I wouldn't be selling the rims. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
