Default ///M Roadster 17's

I'm selling my 17inch ///M Roadster wheels. They are 7.5 F, 9 R. the front wheel offset is 41mm and the rear is 8mm. They come with tires already mounted and balanced. The tires are Michellin Pilots sports. They still have loads of tread life. The reason i'm selling is because I fitted them on my ti and the rear wheel offset makes the tire stick out about 3/4 of an inch from the wheel well. I'd be even more interested in a trade. I would prefer something local, because shipping would be a pain in the ass. The wheels are in great condition except for some minor curb rash around the outside of the lip on all four wheels; (the guy who owned it did'nt know how park ), but aside from that they are gorgeous wheels. If you are interested please let me know. Thanks.

Since your ///M roadster rear wheels are sticking out from the wheel well on your ti, you would not recommend any ti owners to get your wheels. Is that true?

IMHO, it's not the style I want for my car, some, may want they're cars to have that look. It makes the ti look like those german tuned ti's i've seen here before, where the wheels stick out of the body lines. I would only recommend these wheels for ti owners if they want to achieve that look. If they dont, I suggest that they dont bother. But if by word of mouth, anybody here knows somebody with a Z3.........they might be much more interested. But like I said, i'm open to all interesting trades.

Why not just sell the rears and buy two more front ones. I like how the car looks with the ///M roadster wheels if these are the ones you are reffering to... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2037568

Because I kind of like the idea of the staggered setup. Plus the rear wheels have an incredibly deep dish. It would compliment the car so well, but like I posted earlier, the way it looked on the car is not my style.

Any pics of them on a ti??? 9" m-roadster rears on a Ti would look incredible...With an 8mm offset fender rolling would be a must, especially if lowered.

Did'nt take any pics yet.......but do you really think that you can roll the fenders out that much? And a follow up question, how far can you actually roll the fenders? what is the limit?

Come to think of it; a 9" rim with only a 8mm offset probably wouldn’t fit even if you rolled the fenders, since rolling fenders only accommodates for a few extra mm. of space. I wonder how those euro-style guys do it? Maybe if you run a 215mm wide tire and stretch it out over the rim?!?!?

I found a picture of what the ti would look like with the ///M roadster wheels on it.

It doesn't look half bad. But the setup is definetly a tight fit.

I just wish I knew what size that tire was. Then maybe I wouldn't be selling the rims.
