1998 base model, morea green, automatic, heated seats, no fog lights, no trip computer, no cruise control, steel wheels. Bought it at Keller Brothers Ford in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, in December, 2010. Had 101K on the odo. when I bought it. The car had lived its life in the suburbs of Philadelphia, owned by a college professor who gave it to his daughter who drove it awhile before trading it in on a Ford Focus (go figure). Had been maintained at a BMW dealership. I called them, and they were nice enough to give me a service history. I would say that the exterior is 9 out of 10;the same goes for the interior. We all like to think that we made good deals on your cars, and I am no exception. I think that the sales manager either stole the car from the girl, or didn't bother to look at the ti market when he set the price. I got him to come down $200 to $4800. Of course I had to fly up to Pennsylvania from my home in Texas to pick it up, but really I had a ball doing that and "bonded" with the car on the 1400 mile trip home. Originally, I didn't want a base model, but I kept coming back to this one based on the pictures on Autotrader and the good CarFax report. I put a $500 non-refundable deposit down and jumped on a plane. My apologies for going on and on, but I like to tell my "car story."

$5000 depreciation in 3.5 years? Zoinks! Sounds like you got a pretty killer deal! Post some pics of the car if you get a chance.

Welcome aboard!

Bought my 1996 active Ti with about 125k for about $3500. Have every repair record since 1995, bought from the second owner. The only bad part about my car is the head liner, everything is in great condition
