I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on the best places to post the sale of the car. I am the original owner of the 98 318ti Alpine White 5 speed, with the complete sport package, including a California Sunroof. The car has been alot of fun since I bought it 10 years ago, and it still looks and drives like new. | | | 10-06-2008, 03:17 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | You should post on Ebay, Craigslist, and or BimmerForums. Can you post some pictures of the car? __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 10-06-2008, 03:23 AM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Ohio Posts: 6 | Thanks for the tips, and I'll check out the bimmerforums. I'll have some pics up probably on Tuesday as I am taking it into the shop tomorrow for an oil change and to make sure everything is in good order before putting the for sale sign on it. | | | 10-06-2008, 04:05 AM | #4 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | How much are you looking to get for it. I know quite a few people on here would be interested in a Ti with those options. Of course pictures would help the sale tremendously. Ebay just raised their fees for selling cars. I think they want $125 now. Craigslist is another option as it helps draw in local sales. I sold one of mine by simply parking it downtown with a price and my phone number on the window. However I didn't get as much for it as if I were to post it for sale on the forum. You'll definitely get more for it if you sell it to an enthusiast who is actually in the market for a 318ti. Anyway, post pics and a price. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 10-06-2008, 03:23 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Where in Ohio are you/car located? Funny thing is, I have seen a couple of other TI's around the Cleveland area, but I've never seen one with the California Sunroof. When I purchased the car, I actually wanted to order a '99 but was informed that most of the options were disappearing in the '99 and the '98 I purchased was the last one at the dealership on the showroom floor. | | | 10-09-2008, 10:10 PM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Ohio Posts: 6 | Specs on the car: Alpine White Gray Cloth/Leather interior Sport Package Heated Front Seats (comes in handy in these Ohio winters) California Sunroof aftermarket alarm (it's a Clifford alarm system)s | | | 10-09-2008, 11:59 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | Hello Aviar, I may have missed it but what is your asking price? __________________ | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
