Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Denver, CO Posts: 3,925 | Uhhh.... First off, the 318i and 318ti ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. You should know this, and you shouldn't be making post like this (just my opinion). FYI: 318ti rear rotor: BRAKE DISC 272X10 34216758552 $55.24 318i rear rotor: BRAKE DISC 280X10 34211165457 $53.29 I didn't look at the fronts, but there was a major revision made to the brake rotors in '98, so there are 2 different rotors depending on the year of your car. And the obvious...318ti's didn't make it to the states until 1995, so crossing it with a 1994 e36 generally isn't a good idea. What happens when someone orders these and they don't fit? I hope you can do your own research next time. Also, I know we have many member on this forum that also sell BMW parts. These member are ALWAYS contributing to the various discussions on the forum, not just posting up links to buy their parts. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 03-20-2007, 06:01 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Miami Beach, FL Posts: 36 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT Uhhh.... I don't recall saying they were interchangeable... can you point out where I did that? All you need to do, to select parts for YOUR specific make and model year, is change the selections from our Make and Model search drop down boxes... all links I post are going to be for specific year and make instances, and for vehicles that don't fit that EXACT year and model, you should simply change it to what you're looking for. If I'm not mistaken, there are members of this forum that have the 318i make and model, as well as the iC, and the iS, besides the ti... but please correct me if I'm wrong, and there are ONLY ti members here? | | | 03-20-2007, 06:14 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Miami Beach, FL Posts: 36 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT FYI: 318ti rear rotor: BRAKE DISC 272X10 34216758552 $55.24 318i rear rotor: BRAKE DISC 280X10 34211165457 $53.29 | I'm happy to do the research for you Dusten... Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Denver, CO Posts: 3,925 | The prices I posted were off of realoem.com, so that price doesn't actually mean anything. I simply posted those part numbers to show that they are not interchangeable. Please note in your posts that the specials you are posting are NOT for 318ti's but for 318i's and 318ic's. I'm sure the 6 members with those kinds of cars will find these specials useful. 318ti doesn't even appear in the list of vehicles to select parts from, so how can I go in and find the right parts? You posted a bunch of cross reference items in your other posts, so I assumed that's what you were doing for the brakes. Just wanted to let you know that that isn't going to work for this application. You are abusing 318ti.org by making posts like this. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 03-20-2007, 09:53 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Miami Beach, FL Posts: 36 | Dusten, please let me know if I can help you find any parts or quote you on anything. Our database administrator is working on making sure the 318ti models that are missing from the corresponding years in our drop downs that they should appear in, gets resolved. I'll notify you as soon as the 1997 318ti is fixed in our drop downs. In the meantime, please let me know what you're looking for an I'm happy to serve. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
