I am selling my 1997 318ti, 5 speed, Cali roof, leather seats, heated front seats. About 223,000 miles. $1750 or will consider offers
The car is driven daily still. Just got back from a 5 hour trip and it drive well, gas mileage was 33mpg.
The cali roof is from a 1998 car, it has the windscreen on it.
The car was from NY, so it has had some rust repair in the past. It looks like the unibody channel had a welding repair. I know the jack points are rusted and gone. I have fixed the water leaks in the floor. The car is dry now.

The car is in OKC now. I do have a few extra parts, alternator, spark plug wires from a 1996. I even have an extra battery, thanks to a misdiagnosis from a BMW dealer.

The main problem area was behind the front tires, where water got into the unibody channel (I think that is what it is called). I used a fiberglass repair kit to close up those areas. From the interior floor, I also patched up the outer corners with the same fiberglass. The interior has been water free now since the repairs. Under the car, I thought the channel where the jack points were, had been replaced and welded years ago. I couldn't find that and the undercoating appears to be original.

It is a fun car to drive. And especially in moderate temps, with the cali roof back. Very pleasant.
