I can't wait for the day when a clubsport is actually for sale and the ad calls it an active or base model.

I have run into people that think if the rockers and the lower parts of the bumpers are body color, that makes them a Club Sport. Mine was advertised that way when I bought it.

my insurance card says my car is a Clubsport, I'm thinking that's where some of the confusion is coming from for people who aren't enthusiast owners

Ha ha that's funny. When I first bought this car, went through the what-zit game on here and based on the seats christened it a 95sport. But ya, the mirrors are wrong. And I did the rockers and valances. they were the normal 95 grey. Oh well, the various designation don't mean anything to anyone except me and those on here. It's been a great car--one of my favorites.

Is this ad close enough? The ad nowhere says it is a Club Sport, but it is.

Sold today, I see about 2-3 of these ads a year on the Club Sport and they never say Club Sport, Sport, Base or Active because most people do not know the difference or even care. It only means anything to us on this forum.
