The tires suck but he gave me a really good deal on these. New rubber to follow. | | | 03-31-2013, 06:46 AM | #328 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: Newberg, OR USA Posts: 4 | What is the optimum size and offset to run the widest tires without major body work? Looks are great but the more rubber the better IMO. Also what is that max tire size? | | | 03-31-2013, 09:35 PM | #329 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Depends on the amount of negative camber and if you're running coilovers. With both of those, 17x9 et42 and a 255/40-17 all the way around. You'll probably need a decent spacer up front to clear the strut and a fender roll at each corner. If you don't want that, 17x8.5 et40 with a 245/40-17 bolts up pretty easily and may or may not need a small spacer up front, no fender roll should be needed. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 04-10-2013, 09:13 PM | #330 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Brunssum, Teh Netherlandz Posts: 8 | BBS RC304 (17x8 ET38) /w 225/45-17 | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
