Exclamation Engine rebuild

Heyyo, I just registered to this form today and i have a question that ive been trying to find the answer to for a painstakingly long time. I have a bone stock 1995 bmw 318ti with that good ol 1.8l l4 that i cant seem to find an engine rebuild kit for. the car has almost 300 thousand miles on it and is starting to fail so i decided id turn it in to a drift car but again i cant seem find a rebuild kit for it. If you guys could please help me find a rebuild kit for me and send me the link that would be amazing, thank you!!!

You have a M42b18 so you can look up - head-gasket kit, rings, timing chain set, all other gasket including oilpan gasket set etc etc depends on how much of a rebuild you want - I did a quick search and it seems like you are right that there were no complete rebuild kits.

You could also have someone else rebuild it:
https://www.bmrparts.com/used_bmw_en...gine_90-93.htm
(basically the same m42 engine - but you could call/message them to ask if it is something your interested in)

Or get it partially built at the same time:

Good luck!
