A little late, but in case anyone needs an answer to this e-brake adjustment question, the bentley manual shows adjusting the rear parking brake shoes through a lug bolt hole on each side (yes, there are internal brake shoes like a '49 Plymouth, inside the rotors attached to the brake cables going to the handle). I think the best way to is to remove the rear wheels, take off the rear rotors, clean out the crap accumulated inside the drums / rotors, clean the brake shoes with #80 or 100 grit sand paper,
clean the inside of the rotors where the parking brake shoes go with same sandpaper, adjust the shoe out before putting the rotor back on. I set mine to where they just barely go on, then set the parking brake a few times, check clearence again, etc. until you can fine tune the adjustment inside the car with the nuts on the cables.
Whew! There ya go, it's a dirty job, but someone's gotta make sure the parking / emergency brake works properly. I prefer doing things myself. (get'er'done right and cheaper).
If you have driven several times from Florida to Alaska with the brake on, you might need new shoes. otherwise, they just get dirty, or possibly a cable broke. These parking brake shoes never wear out unless you leave the brake on while driving.
