 Air Flap Sticking - Temp Control Knob
My temp control knob gets stuck when going from COLD to HOT. This happened on the fresh air flap under the windshield. The foam seal disintegrates, leaving the sticky tape which glues itself to the housing. I was able to fix it by applying silicone grease, but the seal is of course shot.
Anyways, has anyone experienced this? Nothing is broken, just an old car malady. The HVAC internal foam seals need replacing & I'm not pulling another dash.
