Default clutch engaging high?

the clutch pedal in my 95 ti seems to be catching higher and higher up in terms of travel, now towards almost the top. i've never noticed it until just the other day, and so did my GF. It seemed to set on fairly quickly.

What could it be?

Default

clutch and brakes share the same hydraulic system. perhaps check fluid level and see if there are any leaks?
