Default Replacing 3 series brake pads

I'm due for a brake pad change. I don't race or anything like that, but I do drive fairly far/often for my daily commute. I've heard OEM pads might be a good choice. Any other suggestions for BMW brake pads?

For daily driving needs they are fine. Check the big parts houses out ie, Pelican, BMP, BavAuto, Tischer most will match costs

I forgot which brand, but go to Pelican Parts and look up the pads made by the BMW oem supplier. It's the same pad as OEM, but in a different box for a whole lot less money.

Jurid, Pagid, and Textar are all OEM BMW. I carry them all. They work well bust dust a lot.

Akebono Ceramics are what I use on all my cars. They work just as good (if not better than OEM) and they don't dust.

Buying pads direct from the dealer is a waste of money.

Ate, Jurid, and Textar are all OEM brake suppliers, IIRC.

LOL- BimmerBum beat me to it!

Although, +1 on the Akebono Ceramics and +1 on buying pads directly from the dealer... ANY dealer, no matter the car make.

Change the rotors too, don't just throw pads on.
