Default central locking
hi everyone.i have a e36 318ti sport compact.i can only lock/unlock all doors from the drivers door.if i try to lock it from the passengers it doesnt lock the drivers door.is this a fault? or is there just a switch in the drivers door? regards

Locking either drivers side or passenger side locks with the key should lock all doors and hatch. Locking the hatch will not lock the doors

Just checked to see if everything locks with the button on the doors, both doors lock and I think I heard the hatch lock actuate.
