Default Do we have headers or a header?

trying to make a point, going to link this to another site.

I say a M42/m44 has a header, like all I4s have A Header, not headers.

If someone did I would love to know. This is the only aftermarket one I've seen, so I'm waiting to see if something cheaper exists.

We have a header. I don't know about M44's, but '95 M42's already have a tubular exhaust manifold (header). An aftermarket header will not give much (if any) gain. I read somewhere that the factory header is a very good design.

the OE is a 4-2-1 and the supersprint is a 4-1 design.

Youl most likely find the OEM unit has better torque numbers on the dyno than
the 4-1 aftermarket. I also prefer the exhaust tone of a 4-2-1 less buzzy.

The 4-1 likely provides better HP over 5500 rpm's though...

Hi Nick, Yes a terrible thing.......but much as they would like to think it will defeat us..
bollocks will it!.......Didnt we go through this over 60 years ago?

I just hope they were suicide bombers......at least that'll be four more wankers out of the way......and maybe at sometime in the future their families will realise the futility of it all and feel the same grief as our families are now.

Best regards David
