M42 E30 vs E36 intake manifold

I have are BMW 318TI årg 95, M42 engine,
the car is only drive on Race Track, so the RPM never come under 3500-4000 rpm.

Will it be are god conversion to change the long E36 intake manifold to the E30 intake manifold ??

I don't have a reference for you, and the hp specs don't show it, but I'm pretty sure I have read that the E30 M42 does have a better top end, as you suspect.

Mr. Purcell can probably tell you all about the E30 manifold. He likes to take apart his E30 and measure everything.
