Thumbs up wow, i found gold

318ti, california roof, black leather with seat covers that have never been removed, 118,000 miles, m technic "sport" package (pretty sure, im not an expert on all this yet though so i might be wrong)... it needs only a battery and parts of a new front bumper from a fender bender. all for only... $3500! what do yall think, the paints perfect as well besides that bumper but the valence and headlights are perfectly fine and the car was maintined beautifully... the only minus is its an auto so yay or nay yall?

Have it checked out by a professional shop but sounds like a fantastic deal to me. Look for evidence of leaky roof (not related to the fender bender but general consideration with a cali roof).

Think long and hard about the auto tranny. I almost (moment of temporary insanity) considered one.

Whoa- missed that automatic tranny detail. If that doesn't bother you or you have one foot, go for it after a checkout.

the roof has no leaks, i just checked, the top is hardly even faded. im gonna post some pics here pretty soon of the front end and see what some of yall think. how much it will cost, work involved, parts possibly needed etc...

i know the auto is not th ebest in the world, but im thinkin i can fix the front end for only as much as a bumper will cost, so like $600. so im getting an immaculant (other than front end) car, for lik $4000. do yall know how much is involved in switching an auto to a manual? how much is it roughly? and is that something i can consder doing on my own?

Most people who have taken the survey have manuals.

i personally would go with the 328is, they are quick, but if you are willing to splurge and extra 2k you could get a good deal on a 97 M3, but insurance will gouge you.
