Default Did I go over board?

I just finished CFing my interior. Is it to much? Not enough? Just right? Does it look cheap? Should I have gone with silver CF instead?

Took me about 4 hours but it's definitely worth it. It does NOT look cheap at all despite what others have suspected. It looks like the real thing.

My interior is pretty dirty atm. I'm waiting for tomorrow so I can thoroughly detail it. Gotta prepare for the bliss meet this sat.

I don't understand why I need to spend $150 for a CF ebrake from bavauto, when I can make it look EXACTLY the same for $20 and do the entire interior. I still have a crap load of it left.

wouldnt have done airbag cover, its likely to peel from sun over time and it looks out of place, i would have just done the trim pieces.

if it doesn't make you pull more g's, stop faster, or accelerate quicker, it's a waste of time and money.

Actually it's pretty weather resistant. I had to use a torch to get it to conform around the curves, and remove the creases. It does not burn easily, but it does wrap around real tight. Best of all, it's water proof!

quality people will say it cheapens the car, if thats possible for a 318

aestetic people will call it tacky

and most people reject whatever lacks 'realness'

Yea, it's a plastic film. It's slightly sticky, but the whole point of it the stickness is to hold it in place, while you torch it. Spent $20 for a roll of 24"x17". I still have like half of it remaining.

haha nice, im not a fan of cf but i dont agree with most people, to me if you do something no matter how small it is with appearence, and you like it, its worth it.

i pinstriped my tails because i thought it looked good, did ds1s cuz i liked them, stubby antenna because i think it looks better, so imho its worth it if you like it.
