i just got done doing it and its a pain.

i would try the company i ended up going through they were incredibly fast!

i booked the shipping on a saturday and the truck picked it up monday and it got here thursday.

from pa to tx

the company was called auto wise shipping i think

but other than that its not gonna be cheap since gas prices are so high.

i paid 750

crazy try calling someone and they will be able to work around things a lot better.

but then again they may not know of any trucks going that route until then.

try this
www.dasautoshippers.com
www.a1autotransport.com
www.allstarautoshippers.com

an important thing to remember is do not give a deposit until your car is either on the truck or booked to have an exact pick up date.

some companies will ask for a deposit right away and then they will have a ow price so no truck will ever pick that car up at that low price and your stuck with waiting for ever or having to find someone else and losing the deposit.

thanks...
i think i'm going to end up using das
since they are the 'recommended' shipper for escrow.com

actually, i'm going to let escrow.com do a lot of the work... including the titling and registrations... this kinda shows how lazy i am... even though i am a lawyer myself and am perfectly capable of handling this stuff... just easier for someone who does this all day long to get it done =P

I hit the truck driver up for his personal business car from T Bone Trucking, since he came to my area, I figured I could use him in the future!

He complained about the price of gas going up up up, and how it hurts his business BAD. His truck tank fill up cost the price of shipping Josh's car. (well, that week anyway)

das has a good name for itself- I never used them, but havent heard anything bad. Good luck!

I used nation auto shipping broker service they weren’t any better or worse than the next shipper. They are the company that Ireland Engineering uses. I paid $750 from MN to CA.
